Mark is a director and hands on manager of Grenane House Stud. After serving an apprenticeship under some of the industry’s most prestigious names including Timmy Hyde, John Oxx, Mick Channon and Aidan O’Brien, Mark embarked on a successful training career, culminating in Group 1 success in the 2007 Prix de L’Abbaye with sprinting superstar Benbaun, Mark returned home and in tandem with his brother Adrian, began to write the next chapter of Grenane House Stud.
Rowan (Beanie) Wallace
Beanie has spent a lifetime immersed in all facets of the equine industry. Having met Mark in Lambourn, she relocated to Grenane in 2015. Beanie is the stud’s all-rounder and is as skilled with the mares and foals as she is as the office manager.
Adrian Mansergh Wallace
Adrian grew up in Grenane House and is a director of Grenane House Stud. In addition to his work on the home farm, Adrian has worked for Coolmore Stud since 2001 and has been employed at their American farm, Ashford Stud, for the majority of that time.
Paddy is Beanie and Mark’s first child and is the stud’s youngest intern. He has inherited his Mother’s good looks and his Father’s enthusiasm for delegating!
Mary handles all the ‘sitting around’ duties at the stud. She is also Steve’s boss.
Steve handles the bulk of our security requirements.
